Paul Vernon Hughes

The Ven. Paul Vernon Hughes (born 4 August 1953) is the current Archdeacon of Bedford.[1]

Hughes was educated at Pocklington School and the Polytechnic of Central London.[2] He was ordained in 1983 and began his career in Chipping Barnet.[3] After an earlier career as a Residential Property Surveyor he was ordained in 1983. After a curacy at Chipping Barnet he was Vicar of Dunstable (1986–1993) then Boxmoor (1993–2003).
